These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

At Creators Journey, our goal is simple: to provide quality products, helpful resources, and genuine support to creators across Canada. These Terms are designed to clearly explain how our website and services operate while protecting both our customers and our business.

Using Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation, security, or accessibility of the website for others.

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, customer accounts, or data.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of our website without our prior written permission.
  • Interfere with the security or functionality of the website or any connected services.

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please notify us immediately.

While we strive to keep our website available at all times, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. From time to time, the website may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website or services where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or where necessary to protect our customers, website, or business.

Products & Availability

We work hard to ensure the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, errors may occasionally occur.

Product descriptions, specifications, pricing, photographs, availability, and packaging are subject to change without notice.

While we make every effort to accurately represent our products, actual colours may vary depending on your monitor or device settings. Product photographs are intended to be representative and may not exactly reflect the product you receive.

Inventory displayed on our website is updated regularly but cannot be guaranteed. Products may occasionally become unavailable between the time an order is placed and when it is processed.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time.
  • Update or discontinue products without notice.
  • Limit quantities available for purchase.
  • Refuse sales where required by law or where we reasonably believe a purchase violates these Terms.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Orders & Payment

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.

Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. All orders are subject to review and acceptance by Creators Journey.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Product availability or inventory discrepancies
  • Pricing or website errors
  • Payment authorization issues
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Suspected misuse of promotions or rewards
  • Orders that appear to be placed for unauthorized resale
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, we will issue a full refund using your original method of payment.

Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers. Creators Journey does not store your complete credit card or payment information.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • PayPal
  • Klarna

Available payment methods may change from time to time without notice.

Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and applicable tax laws.

Promotions, Discounts & Rewards

From time to time, Creators Journey may offer promotional pricing, discount codes, loyalty rewards, gift cards, or other special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions, discount codes, and rewards cannot be combined.
  • Rewards and promotional offers have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • Certain products, collections, brands, or pre-order items may be excluded from promotions.
  • Promotions are valid only during the advertised promotional period and while supplies last.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue promotions, rewards, or discount programs at any time without prior notice.

If a pricing error, technical issue, or system malfunction results in an incorrect price, discount, or reward being applied to an order, we reserve the right to correct the pricing or cancel the order prior to shipment. If payment has already been collected, you will have the option to proceed with the corrected pricing or receive a full refund.

Our loyalty program is administered through Smile.io and is subject to change. Earning and redeeming rewards points may be subject to additional program terms, which will be communicated through the rewards program.

Gift cards, where offered, are redeemable only in accordance with their stated terms and applicable law.

Shipping & Delivery

We strive to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Estimated processing and delivery times are provided for your convenience but are not guaranteed.

Once your order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's operations and timelines. Creators Journey is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, labour disruptions, customs processing, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because delivery was refused, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the shipping carrier. If your shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us. We'll gladly work with you to investigate the shipment and assist with any carrier claims where appropriate.

Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to our Returns & Refund Policy before completing your purchase.

Product Use, Testing & Commercial Resale

Creators Journey supplies products intended for crafting, manufacturing, and other creative applications. Because every project, formulation, manufacturing process, and environment is different, customers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for their intended use.

Before using any product in commercial production or offering finished goods for sale, you are responsible for conducting appropriate testing to ensure the product performs as expected and complies with all applicable safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Testing product compatibility with your own formulations and processes.
  • Following recommended usage rates, safety guidance, and technical documentation.
  • Complying with applicable labelling, ingredient disclosure, and consumer product regulations.
  • Ensuring your finished products are safe for their intended use.

Any usage rates, IFRA documentation, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), technical information, fragrance descriptions, educational materials, or recommendations provided by Creators Journey are offered as general guidance only. They do not replace your own testing or professional judgment.

If you manufacture or sell finished products using supplies purchased from Creators Journey, you remain solely responsible for the safety, performance, compliance, marketing, labelling, and legality of those finished products.

Creators Journey is not responsible for losses, damages, or claims arising from the manufacture, testing, or sale of products created by our customers.

Educational Resources

One of our goals is to help creators learn and grow.

From time to time, we may provide educational resources, including blog articles, guides, tutorials, videos, downloadable documents, usage recommendations, calculators, templates, and other informational content.

These resources are provided for general educational purposes only. While we make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, they should not be considered legal, regulatory, safety, financial, or professional advice.

You are responsible for determining whether any information is appropriate for your individual circumstances and for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Customer Reviews & User Content

We love seeing what our customers create and appreciate you sharing your experiences with our products.

If you submit product reviews, photographs, videos, testimonials, comments, social media content, or other materials to Creators Journey—whether through our website, email, social media, or another platform—you retain ownership of your original content.

By submitting content to us, you grant Creators Journey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, modify for formatting purposes, and share your content in connection with our business. This may include our website, social media channels, email marketing, printed materials, advertisements, and other promotional content.

Whenever practical, we'll make reasonable efforts to credit you when sharing your content. However, we may not always be able to do so depending on how the content is used.

You confirm that:

Unless otherwise permitted by law or with our prior written consent, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or otherwise use any content from our website for commercial purposes.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

  • Supplier or manufacturer delays
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
